Things To Do

Ask us for details and reviews of local restaurants and coffee shops as they are always changing and more added to the “top ten list monthly”. We all have special tastes!

The famous “cliff path” is a mere 100m away and offers a wonderful way to stroll or run along the Westcliff coastline, spot the many whales visiting Walker Bay or just absorb the magnificent views provided by this dramatic cliff coastline.
The New harbour is 1km away and offers boat tours to the see the whales, deep sea fishing excursions, two top seafood restaurants and a live music pub (weekends only).

A short stroll towards town brings you first to “Fick’s Pool” a must for a sundowner or light meal. If you love to try new coffee shops with your morning walk, you will be amazed by how many are on offer in the many side streets. Most offer great light breakfasts too.

Restaurants on offer go from Fine Dining to Greek, Italian and many seafood options to choose from. This requires a leisurely glass of wine while we discuss and review your palate.

Speaking of wine, the best kept secret to many is the “Hemel en Aarde” valley a mere 5km drive from town and offering a host of top award winning wine farms and restaurants. Heaven and Earth, say no more…….

Beaches, well there are again choices. Try the cosy “Voelklip”, blue listed Grotto or another of your liking, all with lifesavers and boarding options.
